Art & Soul Acting hosted the NYC Book Club for Actors for seven years. Our bi-monthly-ish meetings filled the East Village’s Remedy Diner with passionate discussions and thought-provoking questions, always with a healthy dose of laughter and over more veggie burgers and apple martinis than one can imagine.
In a valiant quest to become well-read theatre artists, we covered 39 playwrights, over 200 plays and one extraordinary tome dedicated to the art of the play. (Seriously, I’m still wrapping my head around Leon Katz’s masterful Cleaning Augean Stables.)
Many thanks to all who joined this incredible journey!
